Everything you need to know about LED tube light

Are you looking for a tube light without toxic materials and other metals that are dangerous for the environment? If yes then you don’t need to worry anymore. LED tube light is an energy-saving tube that it extremely helpful in reducing carbon dioxide emissions from the environment. Due to less energy, less is demanded from power plants hence greenhouse gas emissions lessen. LED tube light manufacturer have made them free from all grating chemicals and neither do they emit UV rays.
It’s hard to believe but scientists have stated the fact that one LED tube light is equal to twenty five incandescent light bulbs. Also, LED tube lights are eighty percent more efficient than normal traditional light. Isn’t it wow? Don’t you think now it’s the time to replace fluorescent tube lights with LED tube lights?
Like every other thing LED tube light is also associated with several benefits and drawbacks!

Benefits of LED tube lights

Shock Resistance: LEDs are not easily damaged by external shocks because of their solid state components.

Focus: The solid components of LED are specifically designed to focus on the light directly unlike other traditional tube lights that require external connector.

Lifetime: LEDs tend to have a long life.

Slow failure: The abrupt failure of traditional tube lights is not the case here. LEDS fail by fading overtime.

Cool light: It gets exasperating to deal with an extortionate amount of heat in the form of a light, right? Well, LEDS radiate very little heat.

Colors: LEDs emit original natural colors rather than color filters.  This lowers the initial cost by providing complete efficiency.

Size: LEDs are extremely small in size (even smaller than 2 mm2). It’s very easy to attach them to the circuit boards.

On/off time: With the typical red indicator you can switch on and switch off the Led tube light in less than a second.

Disadvantages of LED Lights:

Use in winter conditions: Not much heat is given by LED lights, the traffic control use can result in accidents.

Impact on insects: LEDs attract insects to a great extent, even more than sodium vapor lights.

Efficiency droop: Substantial increase in electric current decreases the efficiency of LED.

Electrical Polarity:  There is no electrical polarity in LED tube lights.

High initial price: LEDs are expensive In comparison to other traditional tube lights. The initial cost is exceedingly high.

Voltage sensitivity: The LED energy is supplied with a voltage above threshold and current below rating.
